A day without glasses -

When you can't see five feet in front of you eye glasses become very important. I personally refuse to believe that wearing eye glasses for actual purpose can not be a fashion statement. For years, I have had the same thick, black Ray Ban glasses and it is time for a new pair. Unfortunately, my latest search for new spectacles was unfruitful - but I did get to enjoy some amazing food and rock my version of a Texas tuxedo while doing so  - and hopefully I will find some new seeing aids soon.

Hummus, tapenade, tzatziki, cucumber, and pita from Bar Louie - of all places!

Chicken parm sliders from Bar Louie. These were amazing because the chicken was marinated in pesto then grilled instead of fried. They were served on a brioche bun with tomato, asiago cheese, marinara, spinach, and pesto mayo.

My Texas tuxedo - a chambray with studded collar over a black tank, tied up and tucked in with darker denim jeans by Lucky Brand.
