Let's talk about juxtaposition.

When it comes to fashion and personal style, one of my favorite things is working two pieces, textures or colors together that should never work.

But, for some reason, they do.

I like to cause a little chaos.

And for once I am not talking about the infamous night club in Sex and the City (season one, duh.).

I mean visual chaos. Delightful visual chaos.

A printed army jacket with jewel embellished pockets screams juxtaposition at me.

Screams it.

It's a lot to take in, so why not pair it with a bit of classic all-black-sensibility.

Wearing - army jacket by Potter's Pot from Luxe Boutique, black high-waisted denim also from Luxe, black crop top from Forever 21, Clubmaster sunnies by Ray-Ban, booties by Crown Vintage via DSW, vintage rings, handmade earring pairing from Homegrown Silver and Stone

EXTRA: I want to take a moment to rave about this pair of handcrafted earrings. I. DIE. Homegrown Silver and Stone is a local collection of jewelry artists in my neighborhood in Chattanooga. They make beautiful things. It is SO important to support your local craftsman. They are the flavor of your city!
