I require a lot of brunching at all times, but that need is heightened when in New York City.
If you have been reading my blog for a bit, you know about my love affair with lox.
Hello, New York has the best.
Not to mention a divine place to dine around every corner.
Following are a few of my food moments during my visit to the city.
Brunch at Extra Virgin.
We ordered several things, however I had to have the Salmon Benedict, of course.
Their hollandaise is to die for. I literally scraped it off the plate with my fries.
We also sipped on Pomegranate Martinis and Extra Virgins.
I highly recommend.
Drinks at The View.
For an ever-changing view of the skyline, this rotating rooftop bar was not a disappointment.
My deep love for bubbly lead me to order the Champaigne-tini.
St. Germain and Blanc de Blanc Cuvee.
I will dream about this beverage.
Brunching once again at Cafeteria.
Trying to expand my horizons, I ordered the Spinach Benedict Sliders.
Cheddar grit cakes, poached eggs, truffle hollandaise.
They were good, but of course I was staring at someone else's Salmon Benedict the entire meal. I just can't help myself.
Appetizers at Boulton and Watt.
We had Brats in a Blanket and some lovely calamari.
I also had one of the most wonderful drinks here!
Brother's Keeper = Zu vodka, yellow chartreuse, lemon, Angry Orchard Cider.
Finish it off with a New York slice at Ray's!
At 3:00 AM, of course.
Nothing like strolling through a desolate Time Square to make you feel like queen of the world.
