And I don't mean the brand of make-up.
Let's talk about finding beauty in things that aren't beautiful.
I have realized, I do this often. I think mysterious, graffiti-ridden alleyways and rusted fire escapes are sources of hidden beauty. They always catch my eye. When I see old, dilapidated buildings, I don't consider them to be a waste of space; but more a sea of possibility.
I am all about the contrast. The juxtaposition. The fancy with the unfanciful.
For goodness sake, if having a gap between your teeth is suddenly chic, then I suppose anything can be.
This flowy, two-piece number is one of my summer favorites. I don't do well in the heat. I need to be able to breath; to feel the wind. It can be dressed up or down. To me, it's freeness bounces perfectly off the brash nature of this uncommonly beautiful place.
You can't go wrong with that.
