Chi Town chambray.

This, is my favorite blouse.

The comma is there for obvious inflection, as that is how much I love this blouse.

Which - your lucky day - is on sale via the link below.

Hold your applause until the end, please.

When you live in the Tennessee summer heat, the present breeze of Chicago is a welcome change - even though it is still hotter than my liking. This blouse is perfect for catching a pleasant breeze and the light chambray fabric makes it easy to stay cool.

I like to mix up versions of the Texas tuxedo (or Canadian tuxedo, depending on which culture you feel like complementing/insulting). Pairing this fun, comfy blouse with a slightly darker denim pant or short is one of my favorite combinations. When mixing shades of denim, I always style the lighter shade on top - think about it as an ombré effect.

Chicago is a fun city, full of interesting buildings and unique places to explore - and of course, I indulged in some serious deep dish pizza.
