I love the structure and classic lines of menswear.
I love the idea of a woman in a power suit. One that doesn't necessarily involve a skirt, but a slender pant.
I love putting my own spin on a more androgynous look.

I have been in search of a great pair of leather leggings for ages.
I am very particular when it comes to pants and leggings. If you have a body type similar to mine, you know it can be hard to accommodate your curvy areas while also fitting a slim waist. I feel like my pants are always trying to slide down. So - for leggings in particular, I look for a nice waistband.
Finally, I have found a pair that are perfect. I love the versatility of these black, faux leather leggings. They provide an instant edge to any outfit, and, when styled with more masculine pieces, they are a great way to put a fun spin on a look reminiscent of menswear.
I love styling slightly androgynous looks with heels and a bold lip color. It's my way of keeping a feminine touch. I also can't get enough of bolo ties these days. They are so wonderfully unexpected! This bolo in particular is made from a vintage broach - which makes is especially unique. Love that!
Trying out new accessories and accents is one of my favorite things about getting dressed. Never be scared to experiment! Lately, it has been all about neat replacement pieces for necklaces, for me. Silk scarves, bolo ties - the options are really endless.
What are you experimenting with?
