Bell sleeves & leather | My favorite things for fall.
If you're wondering if there is an open container law in Chattanooga, the answer is yes. If the fuzz had seen me, they probably wouldn't have liked me waving a glass bottle of Yee Haw around on the city's favorite pedestrian bridge. Chattanooga isn't quite as fun as New Orleans... yet. I have so much fun on Saturdays in the Scenic City. Just going for a walk along the river front or through the Art District makes for a wonderful activity. Casually popping in the Hunter or an art gallery is easy and there is an endless list of places to grab amazing appetizers or drinks. Thank you Saturday, simply for existing.

Lately, I have been focusing on finding blouses I really love. I used to loath wearing pants (of any kind, really), and because of this I rarely bought tops. Over the last year, I have found myself becoming a girl who loves a good pair of jeans, and now I reach for my favorite pair far more often than I do my old favorite dresses. I feel like I have been chomping at the bit to pull these black leather leggings back out of my trunk all summer long.
When it comes to finding a blouse that really speaks to me, a statement sleeve goes a long way. I feel like top shopping is so hard for me because they bore me. However, this little Free People number spoke to me at once. It was love at first sight across a crowded store. I love the longer length of this top, and the fact that the neckline can be unbuttoned to my mid-torso or buttoned up to my mid-chest. The buttons allow me to take this top from the office to an evening out by only lowering the neckline a little. To keep this look sun-up Saturday brunch and beers casual (but still fun), I added a nude lace bralette for a little extra playful coverage.
Other tops I love...
