When I was younger, I wouldn't wear denim.
I can't tell you how old I was when a pair of jeans first touched my legs, but I could certainly read well - and do math (likely as well as I can now).
When I think about personal style, one of my favorite aspects of starting to understand your unique taste is how drastically it evolves over time.
Now, I love denim - in so many forms! I love a good chambray, a nice stretch skinny jean, or something long-lasting with a classic cut. This dress is just another excuse to style up a little denim. BONUS: it has pockets. - real.life.pockets.
I can't imagine what my five (or ten) year-old self would say if she could see me now. I know she would still approve of the dress. I didn't have a shortage of those in my youthful closet.
