It’s that time of year again…
Don’t act like you don’t know what I am referring to...
That time of year when you look for a gift for your special someone (or, let’s be honest, a gift for your special self).
This year, I am teaming up with Homegrown Silver and Stone to make that search for the perfect thing a little more simple.
There are good gifts, and there are great gifts. In my opinion, something unique and handmade is always best. In addition, anything that supports a local business is always a plus in my book.
Homegrown Silver and Stone makes beautiful, handmade baubles right here in the city of Chattanooga! If it's not somewhere you frequent, I recommend it I pop in their shop several times a month looking for gifts or seeking out something with which to treat myself (nothing wrong with that, aye).
It isn't uncommon to hear someone say they don't favor Valentine's Day, and if you're thinking about it conventionally, I get it. However, if instead of pressurizing it, and turning it into some massive show, why not see it for it's true intention - a celebration of love and caring for our fellow human. Now, that's something I can get behind.
If you really want to touch on it a little deeper, let Valentine's Day remind you to show love and respect for yourself. It's not just about having a sweetheart - remember to show a little love to yourself as well!
Now, with that being said. This red dress is a killer, and I have a giveaway you're going to want to enter.

P.S.: When it comes to Valentine's Day style, it's easy to go over the top. Frankly, I am all for the kitschy - I like to wear bright red or pink, really go for it. However, I like to remember that mystery is often more sexy than appearing ostentatious and being cute will never lose its value. When it comes to Valentine's Day dresses, for me, this one is the jackpot. Pick it up at the link below.
