Spring (not winter) is coming.

Spring (not winter) is coming.

Spring is making it's grand entrance. A few days ago, I sat outside reading in a short sleeve shirt - enjoying a quite breeze without a single shiver. Some days are in the 30s or 40s, others are a pleasant 70°. I think it is safe to say my favorite season of cozy sweaters and scarves is coming to an end.

Before it gets consistently too warm to wear a few of my favorite layers, I thought I would share one last chilly day with you all. Something perfect for strolling the city and running errands in.

Chattanooga is the perfect city for a walk. The downtown area is beautiful and scenic, spooning with the Tennessee River, and I love to have a stroll and grab my groceries, pick up some fresh flowers, drop off my mail, or visit the bank while enjoying the city. I consider it the perfect way to relax while also being productive.

Walking shoes are a must for these days, and my Chucks never let me down. For me, they are the perfect go-to sneaker when you aren't aiming for an entirely sporty look. Also, I have praised these jeans (or should I say jeggings) before. I have them in several colors, and they are a constant in my every-day outfit selection. I don't like to be restricted, and these guys never let me down.

I completely understand that the box coat trend had it's moment last winter. However, I love this jacket - and I love adding a little light color to my winter wardrobe. It's a nice break from my usual black winter coat. Trend over or not, I don't really care.

How are you transitioning your wardrobe for the warmer weather?
