Weekly Obsessions | Butter is everything...
The Righteous Butter, by Soap & Glory
I have trouble with dry skin even during the summer months. I'm fair skinned (I know, no one could tell) and the sun really causes my arms and legs to dry out - not to mention the dryness caused by hoping in a pool full of chlorine or the never ending shaving that the warm weather brings.
Several of my friends have started using a moisturizer that needs to be applied when the skin is still wet or damp with great results, so I was excited to give this British body butter a try. It's seriously great. The scent is lovely and strong and the butter leaves your skin feeling so smooth. I'm officially a believer.
PS: To all my Tennessee locals, and those traveling to Bonnaroo, Soap & Glory will be hanging in our area! You can catch them at these locations:
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM | Manchester's own Starbucks + 12:15 PM - 2:15 PM | Ulta, 100 Oaks, Nashville + 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Two Bits, Demonbreun
Kettlebells are BAE.
Lately, I have been doing a kettlebell workout that I really love. I came across it in the Zanita Studio e-newsletter and immediately hopped on Amazon to order a kettlebell. The workout is quick, but gives my legs a nice burn, and I pair it with a bit of cardio instead of the biking that is shown at the end of the workout and a few ab workouts here and there.
I started out with a 15 pound kettlebell, and I will likely up the weight once I don't feel challenged anymore. If you're like me, and you often need to get a little workout in but only have about 30 minutes to do it, then I think you will be pleased with this routine as well.
Make sure to let me know how you like it - and if you make any changes to the workout, please don't keep them to yourself!
Mr. K and I started watching Silicon Valley a few weeks ago, and we are already on season 2. This show is so seriously funny - at least we think so. If the idea of a comedy mimicking a likely exaggerated but scary accurate depiction of what the tech community has grown to become excites you, then I suggest you start watching as well.
Let me know what you're loving right now!
