Each time I walk into a dressing room, I think to myself “When can I wear this?” Sometimes, the answer to this question is NEVER, or NOT ENOUGH and it prevents me from buying something I really didn’t need. However, sometimes the answer to this questions is, “Jodi, you can work in this outfit, OR you can play in it.” - that is when I march straight to the checkout.
For me, finding outfits that I am comfortable wearing to the office and the hopping out to dinner in after is hard. I like to be comfortable and relatively conservative at work, and when I am out with Mr. K or my friends I want to be chic and a little edgy. These things don’t always come hand in hand, so I love it when the way I style an outfit can make the difference.
This is the case with this jumpsuit. Aside from the fact that a well fitting jumpsuit is seriously like a pair of adult pajamas (meaning they can check that comfort box), having the guts to slay a jumpsuit can make you effortlessly chic while keeping you cozy. In addition, this particular suit (like so many) has buttons down the front. Other than the obvious function of these buttons, they allow me to edge the look up or down in an instant. When I wear this look, I wear my favorite Coobie bra underneath. This bra is comfy and full coverage. Choosing a bra like this allows me to unbutton the top of the suit when I head out for the evening (giving the look some edge), but keep the buttons fully closed during the day at work.
