Thanks for TWO great years!

Thanks for TWO great years!

This time last year, when I celebrated my 1 year anniversary, I wrote about my goals for the upcoming year, and the things I wanted to change about my blog. I wanted to be more true to myself and confident. I wanted to share more food, including recipes from my own kitchen. I wanted to focus on stylish affordable outfits, and help the ‘girl on a budget’ love her look. After rereading what I wrote last year, and reflecting everything that has happened on The Fashionable Foodie this year, I feel like I reached those goals, and I want to thank you all for a great second year of blogging! I have continued to learn so much through blogging, and it is truly such a blessing in my life! Sharing my thoughts, food cravings and style tips with you all brings me so much joy and gives me such a feeling of voice. I am honestly grateful to everyone who took the time to read even one of my posts over the last year. Thank you again.

As I look to the third year of my blog, there are still places where I want to grow. I want to showcase the growing food scene in Chattanooga more and become a resource for people who are visiting the city (or living in it!) and don't know where they should grab dinner. I want to be more bold with my clothing choices - the way I used to the in high school. I want to continue to learn, and improve my photography skills. I just can't wait to grow!

So thanks in advance to everyone who plans to continue on this journey with me through year 3! I hope I create tons of great recipes that you want to use in your own kitchen and share styling tips that make you feel great every time you walk out the door! Here's to the next 365 days - let's make them count!
